Merchandising an event means every piece has a reason to be there. There is no sense in having merch just to have merch.
Pick for the people, not the event.
Every good merch decision starts with a question about the person instead of the product. Who's in the room. What does their day look like? What are they going to be carrying around by three in the afternoon?
I came out of consumer behavior and branded merchandise industry, so I spent years watching what people pick up and put back down, and what they end up keeping. Attendees don't stop being consumers when they put on a lanyard. They're asking the same things they'd ask in any store. Do I want this? Is it worth carrying all day? Will I use it at home?
So I look at your event the way I'd look at a sales floor. What do people see first, and what do they want to be holding. When it's picked for the people, they take it with them. Nothing left to pack up at the end of the night is the best sign it worked.
How we can work together
One event
We start with what you want people walking out with, then build the merch around it. You get the visual guide and your team can get approval quicker.
Start to finish
Strategy, sourcing, proofs, production, and delivery. I find the pieces, handle the vendors, and make sure it shows up on time and looks right when it does. You approve. I chase.
A whole calendar
Merch across every event you run for the year, planned together instead of ordered one at a time. Your brand holds together, your budget goes further, and nobody is scrambling in October for something that had to be ordered in August.
The good stuff takes lead time.Don’t panic order two weeks before your event, let's talk about it now while there's still room to do something interesting.
